CINCINNATI (AP) — Coach Marvin Lewis stayed up all night, watching and re-watching video of his Bengals’ latest prime time meltdown.

It didn’t look any better the second time. Or the third time. And there’s no ready answers for it, either.

The Bengals were once again the Wile E. Coyote of prime time on Thursday night, falling apart every which way during a 24-3 loss to Cleveland at Paul Brown Stadium. In their two prime time games this season, they’ve been outscored 67-20.

Lewis said the Bengals lost a game but “didn’t fall off a cliff.” They did fall out of first in the AFC North. Their free fall on the national stage continues, too — 18-41 all-time in prime time.
