CEDAR BLUFF, Va. (AP) — A candlelight vigil for a missing Cedar Bluff hunter will be held on the first anniversary of his disappearance.

Eric Smith was last seen Nov. 8, 2013, as he headed into the woods on his property to hunt. Since then, police and volunteers have conducted extensive searches and haven’t found any clues to the 41-year-old’s whereabouts.

Patsy Clifton of Pounding Mill is a friend of Smith’s family. She tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph (http://bit.ly/10UsEYz ) that the family and Smith’s friends will hold a candlelight vigil on Saturday outside Cedar Bluff Town Hall.

She says the family and Smith’s friends want to remind people that they’re still searching for answers.
