Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 7.50 cents to $5.3825 a bushel; Dec corn was 10.75 cents higher at 3.7525 a bushel; Dec oats fell 5.50 cents to $3.5050 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 35 cents to $10.43 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle fell 1.02 cents to $1.6675 a pound; Jan feeder cattle was 1.10 cents lower at $2.2795 a pound; while Dec lean hogs lost 1.60 cents to $.8860 a pound.
