MARYLAND CITY, Md. (AP) — Police say a 6-year-old child has been struck by a car in Maryland City.
Anne Arundel County police say the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon in a residential neighborhood. The child was flown to Children’s Hospital in Washington with serious injuries.
Police say the driver who struck the child remained on the scene. The circumstances are under investigation.
