WASHINGTON — The teenager who was shot in Annapolis and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries has died.

Police responded to a report of a shooting Saturday before 5 p.m. on President Street between Van Buren and Monroe streets. They found a 17-year-old male victim shot.

The victim has been identified as Terry Bosley of Annapolis. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, which he later died from, according to a news release from the Annapolis Police Department.

Police said that Bosley was walking with a group of people on President Street and one person in the group shot him. The suspect and the rest of the group fled in a small, blue vehicle. Police believe Bosley knew the suspect.
