AAA: Md. drivers paying $3.03 per gallon

WASHINGTON (AP) — Motorists in Maryland are paying 9 cents less at the pump when compared with a week ago.

AAA Mid-Atlantic said Friday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Maryland was $3.03, down from $3.12 a week ago.

The price of gas in the state is 4 cents less than the national average of $3.07.

The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in cities around the state includes $2.99 in Baltimore, $3.12 in Cumberland, $3.10 in Hagerstown and $2.93 in Salisbury.

Motorists in the state are paying 29 cents less than at this time last year when the average price of a gallon of gas was $3.32 per gallon.
