Iceland’s WOW Air lands at BWI

Low-cost carrier WOW Air will start its first U.S.-to-Iceland service at BWI/Marshall Airport and Boston’s Logan Airport.

The low-fair airline was established in 2011, and currently operates between Reykjavik and several European destinations.

The BWI-to-Reykjavik flights will start in June 2015.

WOW Air will operate four flights a week between BWI and Iceland on a seasonal schedule. The flights are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday using Airbus A321 equipment.
