Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery was 4.25 cents higher at $5.27 a bushel; Dec corn was 6.75 cents higher at $3.6975 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.6050 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 9 cents to $10.15 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle was .22 cent lower at $1.6760 pound; Jan feeder cattle was .75 cent lower at 2.2870 a pound; Dec lean hogs gained 1.20 cents to $.9025 a pound.
