Bills sign Campbell, Towns to practice squad

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have added depth to two injury-depleted positions by signing offensive guard William Campbell and defensive tackle Jeremy Towns to their practice squad.

To make room, Buffalo cut tight end Jamie Childers and running back Lonnie Pryor from the squad on Tuesday.

Campbell was the New York Jets’ sixth-round pick in the 2013 draft but didn’t play a down. He was cut before the start of this season.

Towns is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Samford College, who was released by Washington in August.

The Bills (3-2) have needs at both spots in preparing to host New England (3-2) on Sunday.

Starting left guard Chris Williams (back) has missed two games, and starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams (right knee) did not play last weekend.
