RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Potential Republican presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul is set to attend a rally for Virginia candidates Dave Brat and Ed Gillespie next week.

Brat’s campaign announced Monday that Paul will attend a rally at the Hanover Arts and Activities Center on Oct 15.

The Kentucky senator is one of several Republicans considering running for president in 2016.

Brat is running to be the congressman from Virginia’s 7th Congressional District. He defeated former U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in the GOP primary in June.

Gillespie is running for the U.S. Senate and is trying to oust Sen. Mark Warner.
