DC metro gas prices down 3 cents from last week

WASHINGTON (AP) — Gas prices in the D.C. metro area are down 3 cents from a week ago.

In its weekly report, AAA said Sunday that the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.27, down from $3.30 a week ago. The price is 7 cents lower than this time a year ago, when the price was $3.34.

The price of gas in the metro area is 3 cents below the national average of $3.30.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in the District of Columbia alone is $3.52, the same as a week ago.
