Baltimore mayor to speak at resource fair

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will speak at the city’s third annual homelessness resource fair.

On Thursday morning, Rawlings-Blake will deliver remarks at Project Homeless Connect, an event focused on connecting individuals and families who are either currently homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, with resources designed to aid them in becoming self-sufficient.

Resources available at the fair include medical exams and screenings, haircuts and legal advice, as well as services focusing on access to health care and healthy food.

The event will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center.
