WASHINGTON — Actor Harrison Ford was injured in a plane crash in California Thursday, according to several reports.

Ford reportedly suffered serious injuries, but is expected to survive.

The single-engine plane he was piloting crashed shortly after taking off from the Santa Monica airport this afternoon, according to several media reports.

The actor’s publicist has not confirmed his involvement in the crash.
