From now until noon Thursday, Aug. 17, you’ve got the chance to bid on an assortment of items that the Loudoun County, Virginia, government wants to get rid of through Public Surplus.
There are a lot of 13 Avaya G700 Media Gateways starting at $1. Pairs of wooden book shelves also start at $1, as do CPR manikins and a Huffy Lakota.
Bids get a little steeper for assorted Dell and HP laptops: $5.50.
And bids jump into the hundreds, or thousands, of dollars for older-model Ford Crown Victorias and Chevrolets.
Anyone interested in bidding on the items must be registered with publicsurplus.com.
Registration is free, but a 10 percent buyer’s premium is added to all purchases.
Loudoun County government and school employees are subject to bidding limitations under the auction terms and conditions, which are available on the Public Surplus site.
