Grain mixed, beef higher and pork lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 3 cents to $4.9925 a bushel; Dec corn was 2 cents lower at 3.4175 a bushel; Dec oats was 4.25 cents lower at $3.4650 a bushel; while Nov soybeans were 1.75 cents higher at $9.8250 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle rose 1.13 cents to $1.60 a pound; Oct feeder cattle was 2.23 cents higher at $2.2810 a pound; while Dec lean hogs fell 2.02 cents to $.9390 a pound.
