CINCINNATI (AP) — Linebacker Vontaze Burfict is active and in the starting lineup against the Atlanta Falcons, giving the Cincinnati Bengals a huge boost.

The Pro Bowl linebacker suffered a concussion during Cincinnati’s season-opening win at Baltimore last Sunday. He had to pass the concussion protocol tests to be ruled eligible.

Defensive tackle Devon Still, promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster last week, also is active for the game at Paul Brown Stadium. Still is part of Cincinnati’s rotation on the line. He’s gotten national attention for his 4-year-old daughter, who is fighting cancer.

The Falcons have only one change in their starting lineup. Gabe Carimi starts at left tackle for rookie Jake Matthews, who has a sprained ankle.
