WASHINGTON — New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has written some harsh things about Arlington.
In fact, she called it a “soulless suburb” in her new book “Off the Sidelines.”
But Virginia Senator Mark Warner has a retort for Gillibrand — and he put it on a shirt.
On Friday, he presented her with a blue T-shirt that reads “Arlington – We Got Soul.” It includes a white picture of Virginia with a heart over Arlington.
