Grain mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery was unchanged at $5.2750 a bushel; Dec corn was 1 cent higher at $3.4525 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.49 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 2 cents to $9.9475 a bushel.

Oct live cattle was .77 cent lower at $1.5890 pound; Oct feeder cattle was 2.50 cents lower at 2.2525 a pound; Oct lean hogs gained .78 cent to $1.0655 a pound.
