SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Two more people, including the brother of a suspect arrested earlier, have been charged in the stabbing death of a man who was attacked outside a motel in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Montgomery County police said in a statement that 22-year-old Antonio Ortiz and 23-year-old James Jackson were arrested earlier this month. They are charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of 24-year-old Sulaiman Jalloh.

Detectives say Jalloh and his friends were approached on May 28 to buy marijuana at the Silver Spring Metro station. They agreed to meet outside a motel nearby, where Jalloh and his friends stole cash and shoes.

Jalloh later died after being beaten and stabbed by a group.

Ruben Ortiz, 20, and Shanee Collette Cox, 19, were arrested last month and charged with first-degree murder. Ruben Ortiz is Antonio Ortiz’s brother.
