Michigan adds D-3 transfer

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan is adding basketball transfer Duncan Robinson from Williams College.

The 6-foot-8 Robinson will sit out the 2014-15 season. He started 31 games for Williams in his only season with the Ephs. He became the first Williams freshman to reach 500 points in a season.

Robinson played at Williams for Mike Maker, who was once an assistant to Michigan coach John Beilein. Maker left Williams to take the coaching job at Marist.
