COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Jared Davis was 18 of 25 and threw two touchdown passes to lead Tennessee Tech past Kentucky Christian 33-7 in both teams’ season opener Thursday night.

Davis threw a 7-yard touchdown to Darian Stone with 11:21 left in the first quarter, and Willie Davis rushed for a 23-yard score later in the frame to give Tennessee Tech a 14-0 lead.
