Grain mostly higher, beef higher and pork lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery rose 9.50 cents to $5.7175 a bushel; Dec corn was 4.25 cents higher at 3.6925 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.41 a bushel; while Nov soybeans rose 5 cents to $10.2875 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct live cattle rose 2.28 cents to $1.5010 a pound; Oct feeder cattle was 2.62 cents higher at $2.1477 a pound; while Oct lean hogs fell .45 cent to $.9547 a pound.
