Jaguars part ways with CB Harris, 10 others

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived cornerback Mike Harris, parting ways with the former sixth-round draft pick along with 10 others.

Harris played in 31 games, including seven starts, over two seasons.

The Jaguars also waived receiver Ramses Barden, linebacker Allen Bradford, guard Antoine Caldwell, linebacker Josh Hull, running back Harvey Unga, safety Joe Young, center Patrick Lewis, long-snapper Charley Hughlett and receiver Kenny Shaw.

The team waived/injured defensive tackle David Carter (knee). Carter will revert to the team’s injured reserve if he clears waivers.

Jacksonville reduced its roster to 79 players and needs to get down to 75 by the NFL’s Tuesday afternoon deadline.

Coach Gus Bradley says it’s “always a tough day when you have to make these decisions.”
