Titans’ Oher motivated for matchup with Saints

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The last time Michael Oher played in New Orleans, he was a first-string tackle for the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.

He returns less than two years later on Friday night for a preseason game as a member of the Tennessee Titans, trying to prove he remains worthy of a starting job in the NFL.

Oher joined Tennessee this season on a four-year deal, but the Titans also used a first-round pick on Michigan tackle Taylor Lewan.

The Saints, meanwhile, are trying to figure out who’ll start in the middle of their offensive line as veteran Jonathan Goodwin and second-year pro Tim Lelito compete for that spot.

With quarterback Drew Brees likely out, there’ll be continued focus on the backup job sought by Ryan Griffin and Luke McCown.
