Cardin to attend health care event

BALTIMORE (AP) — Sen. Ben Cardin is scheduled to meet with administrators of the Keswick Multi-Care Center in Baltimore.

The senator’s press office says he is visiting the center on Tuesday to see first-hand how the Affordable Care Act is working to provide continuity of care for senior citizens.

The Keswick Multi- Care Center is working on new ways to help hospitals in caring for discharged patients and preventing costly readmissions.
