Winners of 2016 Marine Corps Marathon announced

[related_gallery align=”right”]WASHINGTON — Nearly 30,000 runners participated in the 41st Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday morning.

Army Spc. Samuel Kosgei, 32, was the first male runner to finish the race in two hours, 23 minutes and 52 seconds.

Perry Shoemaker, 45, is the first female runner to finish in two hours, 51 minutes and 47 seconds.
