SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Tim Lincecum of the San Francisco Giants has a no-hitter through eight innings against the San Diego Padres.

Lincecum walked Chase Headley in the second inning and has struck out five. He has thrown 97 pitches. The Giants lead 4-0.

Lincecum threw a no-hitter against San Diego last July.
