Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept delivery fell 8.25 cents to $5.8075 a bushel; Sept corn was 1.75 cents lower at 4.3675 a bushel; Dec oats were 1 cent lower at $3.32 a bushel; while Nov soybeans declined 9.25 cents to $14.2450 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 2.80 cents to $1.4972 a pound; August feeder cattle was 2.72 cents higher at $2.1062 a pound; while August lean hogs rose 2.10 cents to $1.3107 a pound.
