Woman dies more than month after hit-and-run

WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police say a 31-year-old woman has died more than a month after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in southeast Washington.

Police say Lisa Marie Radogno died on Wednesday. She was struck on the evening of May 8 at the intersection of East Capitol Street and 17th Street, southeast.

Police say the car that hit her had Maryland tags, and the driver fled the scene.

Radogno was treated at a hospital and released. Police say she was readmitted to the hospital and died on Wednesday. An autopsy was performed on Friday to determine the cause and manner of death.
