This time-lapse clip  shows the construction of the Smithsonian’s latest addition, the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The museum opens Saturday and President Barack Obama is expected to deliver remarks at the openingceremony.

The 106-second video created by EarthCam shows construction between May 2012 to September 2016.
