Titans agree to terms with WR Rico Richardson

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with wide receiver Rico Richardson and have waived linebacker James Gayle.

The two moves were announced Friday.

Richardson, who is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, spent time on the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad last season. After the season, Richardson signed with the Houston Texans, who waived him last month.

Richardson joined the Chiefs in 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of Jackson State. He had 146 catches for 2,722 yards and 26 touchdowns in 43 career games at Jackson State.

Gayle had signed with the Titans last month as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech. He has been dealing with a shoulder injury.
