Police: 2 shot in drive-by in McLean

WASHINGTON β€” Two people were shot in a drive-by in McLean, Virginia early Sunday, according to Fairfax County police.

Police said the two people who were shot suffered non-life threatening injuries and drove themselves to the hospital. Police did not provide details about a suspect.

The drive-by happened at Dolley Madison Boulevard and Kirby Road at around 4 a.m. Police said the shooting stemmed from a fight at a party in Arlington County on Saturday night.

A vehicle pulled up and fired several shots into a vehicle of people who had left the party before driving away.

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
