Free Picks Explained

As noted above, Sleeper often gives users a “free pick” special. Often, these specials are rooted in NFL and NBA matchups. These picks are designed to win, essentially giving players a lay upas they get started.

For instance, those who headed to the Sleeper Fantasy app to found a discounted pick on Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard on Monday’s College Football Playoff final. Instead of a projected passing yard total of 174.5, Sleeper slashed the total to 0.5 yards. That meant Leonard needed just a yard passing to hit the pick.

As the week moves forward, look for similar offers featuring prominent NBA and NFL players along with a variety of other markets.

Fans were on their feet cheering when Díaz entered in the ninth to Timmy Trumpet's “Narcos.” He gave up two hits and one run while earning his fifth save of the season in a 4-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. His four-seam fastball touched 98 mph.
