DC police servers hacked

D.C. police confirmed that they were recently hacked.

In a statement, the agency said that they are aware of “unauthorized access” to one of their servers.

While they try to determine the extent and impact of the breach, police said the FBI has been contacted to investigate the matter.

Police have not responded to questions about the cyberattack, including when it happened and what comprised information was accessed.
