Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, have released the ID of the woman who died after a hit-and-run last week in Centreville.

Adriana Swinson, 60, of Centreville, was the pedestrian who was struck and killed April 2, Fairfax County police said in an update Monday.

The crash happened in the early hours of April 2 at Lee Highway and Prince Way in Centreville. Just before 1 a.m., police said Swinson was in the southbound lanes of Lee Highway when she was hit. She died as a result of her injuries, police said.

Police don’t yet have a vehicle description.

All southbound lanes on Lee Highway were closed as a result of the incident, according to WTOP’s Rich Hunter at the time.
