A Baltimore townhome briefly owned by veteran sports executive John Vidalin sold for $1.6 million last week, seven months after he exited his role with the Orioles.

Vidalin served as the Baltimore Orioles’ chief operating officer for nine months before returning to the NBA’s Miami Heat, where he was previously executive vice president and chief revenue officer.

He purchased the property at 965 Fell St. in September 2018, two months after the Orioles announced they were hiring him to fill the newly created role. As COO, Vidalin led all of the team’s business departments and sought to drive revenue at Camden Yards. His home went up for sale in April, just before he departed to serve as the Heat’s chief commercial officer.
