A 13-year-old girl from Rockville, Maryland, who was missing since Tuesday morning has now been found safe and unharmed, police said Wednesday.

Rockville City police gave the update Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier, police said Lemlem Earley had left her home between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. to go to her middle school, but she never arrived.

She had been considered a critical missing person because of her age and the cold weather in the area.
