Report: Amazon’s Jeff Bezos interested in NFL ownership

Jeff Bezos has a lot of money, more than $111 billion at current count.

And according to a new report, the Amazon.com Inc. CEO and founder is open to using some of his fortune to buy his way into one of the world’s most exclusive clubs: NFL ownership.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported Sunday that Bezos has an interest in buying an NFL team and has strong support from within the league. Bezos has also spent considerable time with current franchise owners, including Washington NFL team owner Dan Snyder, according to the report.

The report does not quote anyone directly, citing only “league sources.”
