Police identify victim of fatal shooting in Md.

WASHINGTON — Police have identified the man fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in Laurel, Maryland.

The victim, 19-year-old Hassan Lucky, was found near the intersection of Laurel Bowie and Contee roads. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

When police arrived around 3:30 p.m., they found the Laurel resident lying on the sidewalk and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police are still investigating. They have not released any information on possible suspects or a motive.
