1 killed in crash outside police station in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON — A man was killed in Prince George’s County after his vehicle veered off the road.

It happened in Glenarden, Maryland, around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Police responded to a crash right outside of the station on Glenarden Parkway between Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and McClain Avenue.

The road reopened a little before 6 a.m. Sunday.

Police said the driver lost control of his vehicle, hit the S shaped curb and the car overturned. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are investigating the crash.

Bowie couple pleads guilty to selling fentanyl, heroin

A Bowie, Maryland, couple have pleaded guilty to federal charges of selling fentanyl and heroin, causing overdoses in victims including a 9-month-old. Andrew Joseph Trimmer, 32, and Alicia Marie Walls, 28, pleaded guilty on Monday, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a statement.
