4 people stabbed in Montgomery Co. park

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating an attack at a Montgomery County park that left four people stabbed on Thursday night.

Police said the attack happened at Hillendale Park, which is along New Hampshire Avenue just north of the Beltway.

Montgomery County Fire and EMS said they treated four people who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the attack shortly before 9 p.m.

Several reports said a soccer game was being played at the park before the attack.

It’s being investigated by Maryland National Capital Park Police.

Montgomery County Council approves 18-month moratorium on data centers

In a unanimous vote, the 11-member Montgomery County Council approved an 18-month moratorium on the development of data centers in the county.
