Full list of Redskins 2018 draft picks

The Washington Redskins chose Alabama defensive lineman Da’Ron Payne on Thursday as their first pick during the 2018 NFL Draft.

The team followed with Louisiana running back Derrius Guice in the second round and Louisville offensive tackle Geron Christian in the third round.

Day 3 saw the ‘Skins bring a couple of Hokies home: nose tackle Tim Settle and cornerback Greg Stroman played together at Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, and again at Virginia Tech. Now they’re Redskins teammates after getting drafted in Rounds 5 and 7, respectively.

The Commanders are hiring Doug Williams’ son, D.J., as their quarterbacks coach, AP source says

The Washington Commanders are bringing aboard D.J. Williams, whose father is Super Bowl-winning quarterback Doug Williams, as their new QBs coach, a person with knowledge of the move told The Associated Press on Wednesday night. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team had not yet announced the hiring of the younger Williams, who was the quarterbacks coach this past season for the Atlanta Falcons.
