Woman struck after crash on I-270

WASHINGTON — A woman is in the hospital after she was struck on Interstate 270 following a crash.

It happened after 9 p.m. Friday on the southbound lanes of I-270 between Middlebrook Road and Montgomery Village Avenue.

Three vehicles crashed and one woman who was involved in the crash got out of her car to exchange information with another driver.

The woman was struck by a another car driving on the highway.

Below is the area where the crash happened. The woman’s condition has not been released.
