WASHINGTON — One family is displaced after their house caught fire Thursday in Montgomery County, Maryland.

It happened on the 14000 block of Brink Road in Germantown. The residents of the house were not home at the time, and there were no reported injuries, a Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesman said. The house has significant damage.

Some lanes were blocked on Brink Road between Davis Mill and Blunt roads, as firefighters doused the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
