Police: 3 missing DC siblings ‘located without incident’

WASHINGTON — D.C. police say that three missing siblings have been located and returned to their legal guardian without incident.

The three kids, 8-year-old Leandna Rice, 11-year-old Leandra Rice and 14-year-old Andrell Rice, had been missing since Thanksgiving and the police had earlier asked for the public’s help in finding them.

 

Police said the three children were with their mother, who is not their legal guardian, she called the police and dropped the children off with a detective.

This story was updated at 7:32 when D.C. police informed WTOP that the children were located and returned to their legal guardian without incident.
