Police seek Northeast DC sex abuse, armed robbery suspect

WASHINGTON — D.C. police are looking for a man suspected of robbing and sexually assaulting a woman in a Northeast D.C. alley Saturday morning.

The suspect approached the woman at 6:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Penn Street, Northeast. The suspect, described as a short black man in his late 30s, forced the victim into an alley where he robbed and sexually assaulted her, according to police.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing and was armed with a handgun.
