Gun fired down escalator at Columbia Heights Metro station

WASHINGTON — Police are searching for two men after a gun was fired at someone at the Columbia Heights Metro station in Northwest D.C. last Friday.

D.C. police released surveillance video Monday showing one of the men shooting down an escalator at the Metro station. The firing of the gun came after the two were chasing the victim in the 1400 block of Irving Street Northwest around 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 25, police said.

Both the suspects and the victim took off from the scene. It’s unclear if the victim was hit.
