Man fatally shot in Bladensburg

WASHINGTON — Police in Bladensburg, Maryland, say a man was shot and killed there early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the sound of gunshots in the 4300 block of 57th Avenue in Bladensburg about 12:25 a.m. Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from upper body trauma. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Prince George’s County police are investigating the shooting Police have not yet identified the victim or any suspects and are working to determine a motive.
