Boy spends 30 minutes stuck in claw arcade game in Maryland

ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) — A boy spent about 30 minutes trapped in a claw arcade game at a hotel in Maryland before being freed.

Authorities say the boy climbed through the game’s prize door Saturday evening and could not get out.  Harford County officials say the boy was trapped for about 30 minutes before the arcade machine owner arrived with a key to get him out.

A spokeswoman for Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association, Jenn Chenworth, said she did not know how old the boy was. The Baltimore Sun reports (http://bsun.md/2qO2o30 ) Chenworth didn’t know whether the boy received a toy for his efforts

She told the paper: “I think his biggest prize was getting released.”
