Wizards lose Game 5 to Boston, 123-101

WASHINGTON — The Wizards lost 123-101 to Boston in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup.

Washington now trails the best-of-seven NBA Playoffs series 3 games to 2.

Boston’s Avery Bradley led the Celtics with 29 points. Washington’s John Wall put up 21 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. had 13 points off the bench.

Game 6 is set for 8 p.m. Friday at the Verizon Center. The series winner will face defending champion Cleveland.
